Introducing my first product — Thread Creator

The backstory
I previously wrote about leaving my Director-level position at GitHub to attend a code bootcamp and become a full-time entrepreneur. I had struggled for years to build products because I relied on others to make it happen.
I recognized that motivation waned without personal ownership. After completing bootcamp in December 2020, I began developing a project pitched during my cohort work.
Following Christmas 2020, I experienced vertigo that prevented screen work for three weeks. Upon recovery in February 2021, I completed the project after approximately six weeks of development.
What did I build?
I created a Twitter thread scheduling tool because existing solutions didn't meet my needs. The development process reinforced an important lesson: finishing projects matters more than initial enthusiasm.
The tool enables users to:
- Create Twitter threads
- Add images to tweets
- Enable auto-numbered tweets
- Schedule publication
- Reorder content via drag-and-drop functionality
Introducing Thread Creator
Thread Creator is totally free and you can create as many threads as you like.
Product Hunt launch
I officially launched Thread Creator on Product Hunt, the place where product-loving enthusiasts share and geek out about the latest mobile apps, websites, hardware projects, and tech creations.
What's next?
I'm working on a B2B project next and will continue documenting my entrepreneurial journey.
